The 2024 Legacy comes standard with 17-inch aluminum alloy wheels while the 2024 K5 features standard 16-inch wheels, and both can be upgraded to 18-inch wheels on higher trims. Both vehicles have LED headlights but only the Legacy offers LED steering responsive headlights, and LED fog lights are available on higher trims of both models. The Legacy offers a trunk spoiler on the Sport trim, and the K5 has an available rear spoiler. Heated side mirrors are only available on the Legacy. A power tilt/slide moonroof is available on higher trims of the Legacy, and the K5 offers a panoramic sunroof as you climb trims.
The 2024 Legacy offers 105.5 cubic feet of passenger volume, which is three cubic feet more than you’ll find in the 2024 K5. Both models offer available heated and ventilated front seats, but only the Legacy has the available heated rear outboard seats to keep every passenger as comfortable as can be out on the road. A heated steering wheel is available on higher trim levels of both models, but you will only find Nappa leather-trimmed upholstery available on the Legacy.
The dual-zone climate control is available on the higher trim levels of the Legacy and comes standard on the K5. The Legacy features the STARLINK® multimedia system and comes standard with dual 7-inch displays or you can upgrade trim levels for an 11.6-inch display with optional navigation. The K5 has a multimedia system that can be upgraded up to a 10.25-inch screen.
Both the 2024 Legacy and 2024 K5 have two engine options to pick from. The Legacy has a standard BOXER® 2.5-liter option or you can choose the turbocharged 2.4-liter BOXER® engine. The standard engine will net you 182 horsepower or you can bump up trim levels and get 260 horsepower with the turbo engine. The K5 offers a standard 1.6L engine or a 2.5L turbo engine. Symmetrical all-wheel drive is standard fare on the Legacy while the K5 is a front-wheel drive vehicle, with all-wheel drive available on select trim levels. The Legacy features a standard Lineartronic® CVT or available 8-speed manual mode. The K5 has an 8-speed automatic transmission across the lineup.

The NHTSA awarded the Legacy a perfect five star crash safety rating across the board. At this time the 2024 K5 is not rated. The Legacy features the EyeSight® suite of driver assist technology as standard fare across the lineup, a favorite among drivers.
