The 2023 Solterra and the 2023 bZ4X compact SUVs are the same size, both offering standard 18" alloy wheels with the option of stepping up to a higher trim level for 20" wheels. Even though both SUVs are the same size, the 2023 Solterra edges out the 2023 bZ4X when it comes to interior space. Offering a vast 95.7 cubic feet of passenger volume, the Solterra offers more front and rear headroom as well as more cargo space. Behind the rear seat, both vehicles have similar numbers but when you lay the rear seat flat, the Solterra opens up to provide a vast 73.0 cubic feet of room while the bZ4X only offers 56.1 cubic feet. Only the Solterra offers available Star-Tex trimmed upholstery for a more comfortable ride. You'll find available ventilated front seats and heated steering wheel in both SUVs but you'll find heated front and rear seats available only in the Solterra. To get those amenities on the bZ4X, you'll have to pay more for the optional upgrade.

Both the Solterra and the bZ4X offer cloud-based navigation, wireless charging, and a large, standard 12.3" high-resolution touchscreen that includes wireless Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™. X-MODE® with Dirt and Deep Snow Mode, Grip Control, Downhill Assist Control, and Hill Start Assist are standard on the Solterra but unavailable on the bZ4X. Both SUVs will charge to full capacity in about 9 hours while DC Fast Charge will get you up to 80% power in just under an hour. The Solterra gets a range of up to 228 miles while the bZ4X manages up to 252 miles.
