Meet our Team

I grew up in Newark, Ohio and attended The Ohio State University. While at The Ohio State University I worked part-time in the automotive industry and that is where my passion started. I have been the General Manager of Byers Imports in Columbus Ohio since February 14th, 1997. My Part time job in college has lead to a career spanning 4 decades in the automotive and customer satisfaction industry and I wouldn't have it any other way. I have been married to a wonderful woman, Becky Adkins King for many years with 3 successful children Shane, Deanna, and Adam. We are very blessed that our 7 grandchildren Bryce, Kevin, Cassie, Mishae, Sladen, Avery, Conley all live in the Columbus and Johnstown area. Becky and I stay very active in all of their lives and love to watch them grown up.

I started working for Byers Airport Subaru in 2011. I first started working with the Subaru brand in 2000, while living in Colorado. When I am not working I enjoy traveling to National Parks with my wife and four children, we like to hike and fly fish. My 3 older children are all college athletes, my wife and I enjoy going to their Soccer and Baseball games. A fun fact: I drive from Cincinnati every day to work for Byers Airport Subaru, its just that great here!

I have been with Byers Airport Subaru since 1993. One of the reasons I love coming to work is that I work with the best people in the industry. I have worked for Byers Airport Subaru since 2007, I grew up just around the corner in Pickerington, Ohio. I enjoy working for Byers Airport Subaru, in the parts department, because automobilia and petroliana is a hobby of mine. I look forward to being able to find you the correct part to fix your vehicle the fist time. When I am not working my wife and I enjoy collecting and driving classic cars.

I started with the Byers Organization in 2004. Upon hiring, I was at the Downtown Columbus Chevy Store; as a switchboard operator, then moved in to the Internet Dept. Manager role in 2006. In 2010, I transitioned over to the Imports Store. I have been involved in many facets of the Internet/Marketing Departments. I am currently the Internet Manager of all 5 of our Brands (Volkswagen, Audi, Porsche, Jaguar, and Subaru); plus our 2 Pre-Owned Stores! I am very busy in an ever-changing environment and have a huge passion for my work. I am honored to say that I work for the Byers Organization! I have enjoyed many new relationships, as well as lifelong friendships! I am a huge Ohio State fan! I have 3 little dogs; their names are Woody Hayes, Eddie George, and Kirk Herbstreit (aka Herbie). They are spoiled rotten! I was born and raised in Dover, Ohio; a small town NE of Columbus. Dover is near the Amish Communities of Sugarcreek and Walnut Creek. I moved to Columbus 20+ years ago and love being here! I live in Hilliard, Ohio. I bought a condo in 2006 and love spending time at the pool in the summer, and walking my 'boys' (dogs) on the walking paths in my community. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family in the Hilliard/Plain City/Marysville/ and Dublin areas.

I have been with Byers Airport Subaru since 2019. I grew up in Hilliard, Ohio and was introduced to the automotive industry at a young age. My love of cars, especially for the Subaru brand, began to grow after watching a few rally cross victories. I am beyond happy to be here selling Subaru's for the Byers family!

I have been the lead valet for Subaru service since April 2008. I enjoy my role here at Byers Airport Subaru, our customers are amazing. I have been fortunate to live in many big cities such as San Francisco, Chicago and New York but Columbus, Ohio is where I call home. When I am not working I enjoy playing the lottery, one day I hope to win big so I can retire early.
